- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Miles handled the closing for a land purchase my wife and I just made. Even though he was going away for a vacation, Miles was able to constantly keep in touch and answer all our questions. After returning to Maine, Miles quickly finished the title search and was able to draw up all our papers in time for our closing. At the closing, Miles was charming and professional. He made all present feel comfortable, patiently listened to all our stories (which often kept him from proceeding with his agenda), and invited us to participate in the symbolic handing over of the deed from the seller to us. This was the perfect ending to a closing our realtor described as the best one she had ever been to (and she has been to hundreds!). Directly after the closing Miles went to the bank to deposit all associated payments, which I'm sure our seller appreciated, and then to the Registry of Deeds to fill-out the papers making our purchase official. We really were impressed by how quickly Miles made this happen! I could not imagine having a more friendly, efficient, professional attorney, and would recommend without hesitation hiring Miles D.
